I’m incredibly thankful to be teaching art again in a wonderful community. My Art Room is a dream come true.
Making Student Props to Survive Rehearsal
This time, the cardboard swords have a wooden dowel in the middle. Let’s see how long they survive when junior high students get their hands on them. Happy Snow Day!

Making Banners and Flags
Acrylic paint on muslin. Great way to make banners for really cheap. This is from a theatre camp at Garrison Garrison Players Arts Center. I’m proud of these kids. Great job kids!
July 14, 2014 – Art theme was Messy Science. Nothing like homemade play dough to integrate art and science. No Cook Play Dough-2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1 tblsp oil, 1/2 cup of water. Gradually add more water to get it softer and food coloring for color. I had 4 activities for them but this took the full hour.
